Objective To investigate trend of incidence and mean age for colorectal cancer(CRC) in Lianyungang from 2008 to 2020. Methods Collected and qualitied control the data of all cancer registries in Lianyungang City from 2008 to 2020, and calculated the CRC’s crude incidence rate, the standardized incidence rate by Chinese population, crude and adjusted mean age, and standardized age-specific incidence composition. The Joinpoint regression model and the linear regression model were used respectively to analyze the average annual percentage change (AAPC)and the correlation between the (standardized) average age of onset and the year. The standardized age-specific incidence composition were calculated and compared between 2008 and 2020. Results The standardized incidence of CRC in Lianyungang showed upward trends, AAPC was 3.68(P<0.05). The standardized mean age at onset increased from 62.22 in 2008 to 63.03 in 2020,average annual growth β= 0.132(P=0.013). In all age groups, there was no obvious increase in the age group below 50 years old, the age group between 50 and 59 years old began to show an increasing trend. All age groups above 60 years old showed an obvious increasing trend, while the age group between 60 and 69 years old increased the fastest. Conclusions From 2008 to 2020 in Lianyungang, the standardized rates of incidence were on the rise, especially above 50 years old. Adopting appropriate multiple prevention and control measures to reduce the burden of CRC in response to the current epidemic situation. |
