胆固醇是细胞膜的重要组成部分,参与细胞的膜性结构形成、胆汁酸代谢以及类固醇激素合成等,对细胞存活和生长至关重要。机体主要通过内源性胆固醇的生物合成和外源性胆固醇的摄取来获得胆固醇以维持自身稳态平衡。近年来,大量研究表明胆固醇代谢在肿瘤发生发展过程中发生了重编程。胆固醇代谢在肿瘤微环境中发挥着重要作用,胆固醇代谢重编程影响着肿瘤细胞的行为并且调控肿瘤微环境中免疫细胞的抗瘤活性。本文综述了胆固醇代谢与肿瘤细胞以及肿瘤微环境中主要免疫细胞(巨噬细胞、树突状细胞、T淋巴细胞等)之间的关系,并探讨了其潜在的免疫调控机制,为癌症治疗提供新的思路。 |

Cholesterol is an important component of cell membranes, involved in the formation of membranous structures in cells, bile acid metabolism, and steroid hormone synthesis, which are crucial for cell survival and growth. The body primarily obtains cholesterol through the biosynthesis of endogenous cholesterol and the uptake of exogenous cholesterol to maintain its own homeostatic balance. In recent years, numerous studies have shown that cholesterol metabolism undergoes reprogramming during the process of tumor development. Cholesterol metabolism plays a significant role in the tumor microenvironment, and the reprogramming of cholesterol metabolism affects the behavior of tumor cells and regulates the anti-tumor activity of immune cells in the tumor microenvironment. This article reviews the relationship between cholesterol metabolism and tumor cells, as well as the main immune cells in the tumor microenvironment (such as macrophages, dendritic cells, T lymphocytes, etc.), and explores its potential immune regulation mechanisms, providing new ideas for cancer treatment. |
